Does Indutex use Serged Seams or Bound Seams? 
Yes, we call them Type 5-6 seams.

Question:  What does the 3M Company say about Type 5-6 Seams vs. a Serged                         or Bound seam? 
Answer:    Type 5-6 seams offer the same protection as a Serged or Bound seam.   

Additional Resources:  A Technical Data Bulletin published by 3M, "A Seam is not always what it Seems."  They state that a Type 5/6 seam (European) is equivalent to a Serged or Bound Seam (USA)   

Question:    What do the experts say about Serged or Bound Seams? 
Answer:       Neither seam is suitable for a chemical suit.
